Helping patients and their families achieve the best possible outcomes for complex health problems has been our life's work for more than 20 years. Be assured that as a board certified surgeon, a deep commitment will guide your care from the first time we talk and throughout your treatment.

Over the last decade there have been remarkable advances in surgical techniques. Our fields of vascular and thoracic surgery have been at the forefront of many of these advances. We are trained and in tune with the latest technology so we can offer our patients the best options for their condition.

Some of the latest techniques we offer include repairing most aneurysms (enlarged arteries) with small groin incisions as opposed to a large belly or chest incision, treating blockages of kidney, gut, leg, chest, and arm arteries with only a needle puncture as opposed to open cuts, doing complex leg bypass procedures with very small incisions as compared to a long cut over the length of the leg, treating many vein problems with needle punctures in an outpatient setting and even removing large portions of a diseased or cancerous lung through tiny chest incisions. These are only a few examples that illustrate the trend in less invasive procedures. The advantages are less pain, faster healing, and less scarring. The trick is to achieve the same efficacy as the more traditional procedures, and studies by us and others have shown this to be the case.

Despite having access and experience with this advanced technology, we have not forgotten you, the patient. We pride ourselves on providing compassionate and holistic care and never forgetting that we are privileged to treat our patients. We have received "Patient's Choice" awards over the past two years and make it a priority to keep patients and families informed. Thank you for trusting us with your healthcare needs!
